I’m looking for a seasoned sales professional based in Johannesburg who can grow our footprint in the retail space by selling our range of sports goods directly to local retailers, gyms, clubs, academies and corporate wellness programmes. You’ll be working exclusively in a B2B environment, so proven experience negotiating with buyers, store managers, and procurement teams is essential.
Your day-to-day work will revolve around prospecting, setting up face-to-face meetings, pitching the line, and closing deals that meet or exceed agreed monthly targets. Because the role is field focused, solid knowledge of the Johannesburg retail landscape—major shopping hubs,sports academies, independent sports stores, and regional franchisors—will give you a running start.
I will supply full product training, price lists, and marketing collateral. What I expect back from you are regular pipeline updates, accurate forecasts, and a steady stream of signed purchase orders that translate into sustained revenue growth.
