Gemstone Sales & Collector Outreach
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
I have a flawless diamond, a museum-grade ruby, and an exceptional tanzanite that I’m ready to place in the hands of serious private collectors. I’m looking for an experienced professional who can manage every step of the outreach and presentation process.
Scope of work
• Curate a polished online catalog featuring high-resolution images, thorough descriptions, and the historical background of each stone.
• Plan and coordinate an exclusive, invitation-only in-person exhibition where potential buyers can examine the pieces under ideal lighting and security conditions.
• Develop and execute a direct-to-collector marketing strategy—leveraging your network, private collector circles, and targeted communications—to generate qualified leads before the event.
• Oversee authentication paperwork, provenance documentation, and insurance logistics so that buyers have complete confidence in each gemstone.
• Provide post-exhibition follow-up, including offer negotiation support and secure transfer arrangements.
What I’ll supply
• Access to a professional photographer and gemologist reports.
• All gem data, certificates, and market valuations.
• Venue budget, secure display cases, and on-site security.
Success will be measured by the number of high-intent private collectors reached, the professionalism of the catalog and event, and ultimately the sale of each stone at fair market value or above. If you have a proven track record selling rare gems, know the private-collector landscape, and can blend discreet personal outreach with polished presentation, I’d love to hear how you would run this engagement from start to finish.
