HelloTalk Message Template:
1 Self-Introduction:
Hello [Name]! I’m [Your Name], and I’m working on developing a social networking app.
You have many hobbies! Wonderful!!
Have you ever been to [your country]?
(Example: If you’re in Japan → “Have you ever been to Japan?”)
2 Ice-Breaker / Small Talk:
Hope you will someday :)
I always like to ask this when I meet someone new — do you have any big goals or dreams in life? Just curious, if you’re cool with sharing!
3 Reaction (based on user’s answer):
Use a natural response depending on what they say:
* If travel → That sounds exciting! Experiencing new countries and cultures can really change the way you see the world.
* If career/study → That’s awesome! Sounds like you’re really focused on your growth.
* If family/relationships → That’s beautiful. It’s great that you value those connections.
Then continue:
Actually, I’ve been developing a communication app for couples and studying how they communicate.
So, for my research, may I ask you a couple of questions if you currently have one?
4 Interview (Problem Confirmation):
Do you ever feel that when you just want to leave your boyfriend a small note or a quick word, existing apps make it feel like you’re starting a full conversation instead of just keeping it light?
5 App Proposal & Sign-Up Offer:
Hello [Name], how are you?
Would it be possible for you to try my app with your boyfriend?
It’s a one-way messaging app where messages are delivered once a day at a random time — unlike typical messaging apps.
This design allows for simple and meaningful communication, like gently leaving a sticky note on someone’s desk.
You can find it on **App Store** and **Google Play**.
