Job Specification for Experienced Corporate Travel Consultancy Position
A Corporate Travel consultants’ role is to help our corporate clients plan, choose and arrange their business travel. You will work to a budget set out by the client in planning the trip. You will offer advice, using your knowledge of the travel sector help the client build their travel itinerary.
In addition to this you will support with the planning and curating of leisure travel itineraries.
New Business Activity to increase business profile and gain new clients:
Undertake new business prospecting activities via cold calling, emailing and messaging of target clients via social platforms such as LinkedIn. All prospects will be captured and logged on Salesforce (Customer Record Management System).
You will be responsible for uploading and maintaining the status of all your prospecting activity.
If the corporate account business/leisure customer is won, you will be responsible for carrying out the necessary on-boarding process and the ongoing account management of these customers/business clients.
Operations support:
Work by yourself, with your Manager and other colleagues to support with the building, pulling together of the requested itinerary to meet a customers or corporate clients travel enquiry.
Provide the customer with all of their relevant booking confirmation document and assist them with their preparation for their journey as they may require.
Once you have been trained on the respective systems, you will be required to take enquiries and work through these, responding to the customer appropriately.
You will be responsible for supporting with amendments. new bookings, cancellations and monitoring for net drop.
You will need to be confident with working independently to apply Mark ups, determining the appropriate mark up to add to bookings following benchmarking research of competitor pricing and market place pricing.
Manger all customer queries and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
You will work to achieve the sales targets set for you and look at opportunities to upsell the ancillary services and solutions that we provide.
Key skills for Corporate Travel Consultant
MUST have experience working on Corporate Travel bookings
MUST have strong knowledge and experience of applying mark ups to bookings

Experience of using GDS platforms
Working day:
• Monday to Friday - 3pm-11pm GMT
• Weekend cover may be requested during busy periods
YOU MUST HAVE A HOMEWORKING SET UP THAT IS CONDUSIVE FOR PROFESSIONAL WORKING - NO DISRUPTION AND CONSISTENT INTERNET SERVICE OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN A HOT DESK FACILITY PROVIDED AT YOUR OWN COST.
