SaaS Application Development for Startup
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I’m the co-founder of a new startup and it’s time to turn our validated concept into a real product. I already have user stories and wireframes; now I need end-to-end software development to launch the first version of our cloud-hosted SaaS application.
The scope covers everything from designing a secure, multi-tenant back-end and crafting a responsive single-page front-end, to setting up CI/CD and deploying on a mainstream cloud provider. I’m comfortable with modern stacks—think Node.js, Python, or Go on the server side, a React- or Vue-based client, PostgreSQL for data, and an infrastructure-as-code approach—but I’m open to your expert recommendations if they achieve scalability, maintainability, and speed to market.
Deliverables
• MVP of the SaaS app running in a staging environment
• Source code in a private Git repo with clear commit history
• Automated test suite plus CI/CD pipeline
• Technical documentation covering architecture, setup, and API endpoints
Acceptance criteria: the product must support account creation, role-based access, subscription management, and reliable data persistence; all critical paths should be covered by unit and integration tests; the codebase must pass static analysis without errors.
I’m aiming for an eight-week timeline with milestone check-ins every two weeks so we can iterate quickly. If you have a track record of shipping full-stack SaaS products and can guide best practices around security, performance, and DevOps, let’s talk about moving this forward.
