Node.js Developer Needed to Fix & Refactor Admin Dashboard

Job ID: 40153891

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

We’re looking for an experienced Node.js developer to debug, fix, and slightly refactor an existing admin dashboard used for internal analytics and user management.

The dashboard is already live but has several logic, performance, and data-sync issues that need to be resolved. This is not a simple UI tweak — it requires understanding backend flows, async behavior, and API integration.

Scope of Work
• Debug inconsistent data rendering across dashboard widgets
• Fix broken API calls between Node.js backend and frontend dashboard
• Resolve async/Promise handling issues causing delayed or duplicated data
• Refactor backend controller logic for better performance and readability
• Ensure proper error handling and logging
• Verify role-based access logic for dashboard sections
• Minor optimization of database queries (MongoDB or SQL)

Tech Stack
• Node.js
• Express.js
• REST APIs
• MongoDB / PostgreSQL (existing setup)
• Frontend dashboard (React or plain JS — already implemented)
• JWT-based authentication

Requirements
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express
• Good understanding of async/await and backend debugging
• Ability to read and improve existing code (not greenfield)
• Comfortable working with dashboards and admin panels

Budget

Fixed price: €50

This is a one-time task estimated at a few focused hours for someone experienced with Node.js dashboards.

Deliverables
• Fully working dashboard with all widgets displaying correct data
• Cleaned and documented backend fixes
• Short summary of what was fixed and why
