Accounting & Reinsurance SaaS Platform
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m building a cloud-based SaaS that caters specifically to finance, accounting, insurance, and reinsurance professionals. The system must capture and normalise large volumes of investment and insurance data, turn them into clear, actionable reports, and automate the full accounting flow from journal creation through to consolidated statements.
In practical terms, I need:
• Real-time reporting dashboards with drill-downs by asset class, policy type, and underwriting year.
• Secure ingestion pipelines for investment files (CSV, Excel, API feeds) and insurance bordereaux, with validation and versioning.
• A double-entry accounting engine that supports multi-currency, IFRS/GAAP configuration, and period-close controls.
• Role-based access, audit trails, and encryption at rest/in transit to satisfy finance-sector compliance.
• Multi-tenant architecture so each client company keeps its data siloed while sharing the same codebase.
You are free to recommend the stack, but experience with TypeScript/Node, React, PostgreSQL, and cloud services such as AWS or GCP will be valuable. I will provide a detailed data dictionary, screen wireframes, and sample files once we kick off; what I need from you is end-to-end development, unit tests, and deployment documentation so I can roll this into staging on my account.
If you’ve delivered production SaaS in the finance or insurance space, especially anything that tackled complex reporting rules, let’s talk and map out the milestones.
