Rust JSON API for Social Network
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
This project is to complete a set of endpoints written in Rust (built on Hyper), the architecture of these is FaaS (Function as a Service) type and the resulting API accepts and returns JSON.
The project has already begun and some things that have already been completed;
- OpenAPI Spec is already defined and well documented with request and response expectations
- 4 endpoints are already written, these can be copied and used as a guide/template
- Pipelines to build code and deployment templates are completed along with PR linting
- All endpoints/functions are containerised independently
- This is purely for writing Rust code, architecture for deployment is being worked in separately
The goal is to try and get this completed (at least in a dev form) by mid-September and so work can begin immediately. This phase only covers the basics for the social network, if all goes well, there'll be many future phases.
