SketchUp Parametric Library Plugin

I want to extend SketchUp with a purpose-built Ruby plugin that lets me drag-and-drop fully parametric cabinets and doors—much like the convenience Coohom provides, but running natively inside SketchUp.

Core goals
• Build Dynamic Components for base, wall and tall cabinets plus a range of door styles.
• Expose size, material/finish and hardware options through a clean graphical UI panel (HTML/CSS dialog or native UI).
• Ensure real-time updates: when I tweak width, height, depth or choose a new finish, the geometry, textures and hardware adjustments must regenerate instantly without losing Dynamic Component integrity.

Scope of work
1. Ruby back-end: modular code that defines each parametric object, handles user inputs, and manages persistent attributes.
2. Dynamic Components: create the initial library (at least three cabinet types and two door variants) with properly nested sub-components for doors, shelves and hardware.
3. UI layer: an intuitive palette where users pick a component, set dimensions, choose material swatches and select hardware from dropdowns or thumbnails.
4. Documentation: install instructions, code comments, and a short video or PDF walkthrough showing the workflow inside SketchUp.
5. Compatibility: SketchUp 2022+ on Windows and macOS, using native Ruby API only—no external gems beyond standard HTML dialog resources.

Nice to have (phase-two ready): hooks that could later connect to external platforms such as Coohom or export BOM/CSV data, so structuring the code for future integration is important.
