edit Ruby on Rails code

I have installed the software Consul (https://github.com/consul/consul) on my server. It is a Ruby on Rails app. Now i need to know how to or get someone to edit some choices on a website form (document type on residence verification) for example under the document type menu they have choices of DNI, Passport or Resident Card but I want to change the choices.
