E-commerce Feature Development: Spree and Rails

We're looking for a skilled Web Developer with deep experience in Ruby on Rails and Spree Commerce to join us in building an exciting new e-commerce feature.
? What We’re Building
We’re launching a product personalization tool similar to what you’ll find on Callie.com and [Gossby.com) — allowing customers to personalize items (names, dates, illustrations, etc.) before purchasing.
Here’s the important part:
? This tool will be built as a standalone frontend app (React, Vue, or your preferred modern JS framework) and connected to our Spree backend via API. It must communicate seamlessly for live previews, pricing, and order submission.
We’re also planning to build new custom features on top of Spree, so if you love extending functionality and crafting user-focused solutions, we want to work with you!
? Tech Requirements:
Strong background in Ruby on Rails and Spree Commerce
Solid understanding of RESTful API development and consumption
Experience building interactive frontends (React, Vue, or similar)
Bonus if you’ve worked with canvas libraries (e.g. Konva.js, Fabric.js)
? Who We're Looking For:
You can design and build a complete standalone personalization flow
You write clean, maintainable, scalable code
You’re comfortable working independently and contributing ideas

Develop a standalone product personalization module that connects to Spree via API
Extend Spree with custom features, endpoints, and integrations as needed
