Upgrade Ruby on Rails project to latest table version
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Ruby on Rails project, built using MVC model.
There's < 100 lines of code in application.rb and some initializers
About a total of 500 lines of codes in the controllers, split over 19 files.
About a total of 70 lines of code in helpers
bout a total of 1200 lines of code in models (pretty straightforward - nothing fancy)
There are about 60 files in views, mostly sub-templates with few lines
Made to run in a Docker using a postgess database.
The objective: upgrading from Rails 3.2 project to 7.x (latest table).
Upgrade all Gems to use the latest stable versions. And use the latest stable Postgres database
Upgrade the sources so it can work with the latest versions of all (moduels/Gems).
esting and delivering, including some assistance to deploy on docker hosting when ready.
Sourcecode will be shared through GitHub we expect the code changes to be committed to github so we can verify the changes.
We expect quality coding, documentation and instructions for deployement.
