Upgrade Ruby on Rails & Implement 2FA
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need my Ruby on Rails application upgraded from Ruby 2.7.x and Rails 5.2.x to Ruby 3.3 (or current) and Rails 7.x (current). Once the upgrade is complete, I would like to have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) integrated into the application. This should include SMS, Email, and the use of an authenticator app.
Key Requirements:
- Upgrade Ruby on Rails application to the latest versions
- Implement 2FA post-upgrade
- Handle a few potential compatibility issues with existing dependencies
It's important to note that we do not have extensive tests in place, so you will need to ensure that the application is stable post-upgrade. Experience with Ruby on Rails, 2FA implementation and handling compatibility issues with dependencies is crucial for this project.
