We're looking for a dev to work on a silo'ed project on our Rails 7 + React web application. This dev should have experience working with the Shopify API.
The short version: You'll be interfacing with the Shopify API via our Rails backend and then building a multi-step feature in React.
The long version: We want to allow users who have authenticated their Shopify stores with our Shopify App the ability to send their store's products to customers via our app. Therefore, you'll likely need to interface with a bunch of Shopify endpoints to retrieve a store's inventory, then trigger an order to the store to send this product to a customer's address.
Most of this work will be frontend-related so someone with a strong grasp of React is preferred. Lacking Rails knowledge is also acceptable, albeit not ideal. We'll provide the designs but you'll need to build the interactions to allow users to select into a store, browse its inventory, and select and confirm which products should be sent to the customer.
If necessary, you will be supported by seasoned Rails and React developers, but someone who can work on this project autonomously is preferred!
