Ruby developer with experience in Twilio MFA

Twilio Verify API is implemented in the login screen for this web application. Authentication should happen at first login, and then on new devices thereafter (not every time the person logs in.) Looking for emailed OTP (one-time passwords) and to integrate the SMS option later (email only for now).
