Ruby on Rails Programmer and DevOps Support for Financial Reporting Application

We are a start-up company, based in North America, but with globally-located customers. We offer an international financial reporting system that integrates with existing ERP and accounting software, and which allows customers to produce flexible, accurate management, consolidated and statutory financial reports.

We are looking for someone with excellent written and spoken English, who is a full-stack Ruby on Rails developer and has DevOps expertise. We need help managing our production, development, demonstration, and training databases and servers, deployment of new company environments for customers, as well programming skills to help optimize database and application performance.

As well as Ruby on Rails as the programming language, we operate on Postgres databases hosted on Amazon Web Services.

We would prefer someone looking for a longer-term assignment. Reliability and responsiveness are key attributes as this person will be helping to maintain availability of our production environment. Good candidates may have the opportunity to work permanently with the company in the future if this is of interest.
