Ruby on Rails and Heroku Developer

I'm looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to upgrade and enhance a custom platform to meet evolving needs. Your role will involve:
- Daily collaboration with the original developer and our internal team to ensure seamless development and implementation.
- Maintaining the application's scalability, efficiency, and user-friendliness.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and modular code that aligns with our project goals.
- Deploying and managing updates on Heroku, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Your expertise in Ruby on Rails (5+ years) is critical for building and maintaining scalable web applications. You should also have:
- Hands-on experience with Heroku.
- An expert understanding of Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
- A familiarity with SendGrid and Postmark, including integrating email functionality using APIs.
- A strong problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with our distributed team.
Daily meetings with the original developer are required. Please note, specific areas of the custom platform that may need enhancement have not yet been determined and will be discussed in our meetings.
