Ruby on Rails Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. As a Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our web applications using Ruby on Rails. Writing automated tests is an integral part of our development process, and we expect you to have a strong background in test-driven development.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality software delivery
Work in an Agile development environment and utilize tools like GitHub and JIRA for efficient project management and collaboration
Continuously improve and optimize existing codebase and application performance
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Ruby on Rails development
Communicate effectively with international clients in English, as direct communication is required
Collaborate with the DevOps team when necessary, although experience in DevOps is not a requirement for this position
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails in a fast-paced development team
Strong experience in writing automated tests and following test-driven development practices
Familiarity with JavaScript languages is desirable, but not required
Understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience using tools like GitHub and JIRA
Excellent communication skills in English to interact with international clients
