Ruby On Rails Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties
At the direction of the project lead developer, complete assigned tasks
Write and test solid, easy to understand code
Lead calls with fellow developers and clients
Use productivity solutions to manage your time and hit your milestones
Submit your code for review and be prepared to follow up
Be able to communicate effectively through Slack and Email
Qualifications and Skills
2 - 3 years of experience working with a dev team
Sound Git practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Extensive Experience with Ruby, including frameworks/libraries
Experience with Redis, Sidekiq, ActiveRecord
Knowledge of custom serializers (JBuilder, blueprinter, or similar)
Strong understanding of SQL and Data Migration
Experience with Rspec or equivalent
Exposure to Cable (RoR layer over WebSockets)
Exposure to database explorer software such as TablePlus or SequelPro
Exposure to ReactJS and concepts such as hooks, context API, and Redux are a plus
