Ruby on Rails Developer needed
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We are currently seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails and should be proficient in Rails 6 and Postgres.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise during development.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of Web Development.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Strong proficiency in Rails 6 and Postgres.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Availability to work 5/6 hours a day in EDT timezone.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with StimulusReflex.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
