Ruby on Rails Developer for Communication App
Budget: €36 – €0 EUR
We are building a software with the purpose of making live meetings more efficient and/or to even make them unnecessary by being able to sort out agenda points before a meeting even comes up.
In the first instance, we are building this software for ourselves and for our own employees, but the idea is to turn it into something bigger over time in case we see it working well.
## Current Stage of the Project
We have a clear idea of what we are looking for and are almost done with our wireframing process.

UI design process will start within just a few days and will finish within the month of June.
We will have a frontend developer on board to prepare HTML templates and CSS code for us, so you won't have to worry about this too much.
As for the product, we have reduced it to the bare minimum at this point, with no or hardly any integration of external services. But we can talk about the details over a call!
## Your Profile
- Full-stack developer, possibly with a bit more focus on backend work with strong experience in writing RoRs applications from scratch
- You care about writing clean and maintainable code
- You know how to make RoR applications scale, once they become more popular (although this is not the first order of business at this point)
- You know how to write test with RSpec and care about test coverage
- Experience with Git workflows
- Available of at least 15 - 20 hours per week during the month of June and full-time availability starting in July
Bonus points for:
- Prior experience in working with Turbo, Hotwire and Stimulus for creating an SPA-like frontend experience for users
- Experience in leading small teams of 2-3 developers
You are also welcome to submit your proposal if you are an agency. However, there would need to be direct contact with the developer you will be working on the project during the whole interview process.

We are an 80% remote online media company, that runs editorially driven magazines as well as technically driven websites, that you could describe as aggregators and meta search engines.
Right now, we are branching into building and providing web applications.
Your time zone or location is not important at all, as long as you can make it to a stand-up call (~15 minutes) during GMT+1 working hours.
