Ruby on Rails Developer Needed to Optimize Scraper Performance & Scheduling
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to improve the performance of a web scraper in my Rails 8 application. The scraper currently runs with Selenium and must remain that way. The goal is to:
• Optimize the scraper for better efficiency and speed
• Configure it to run longer without crashing or timing out
• Set up a daily execution schedule
• Ensure smooth integration with the existing stack: Rails 8, PostgreSQL, and TailwindCSS
This is an ongoing project, and I’m looking for a long-term developer who can maintain and enhance the scraper as needed. If you have experience optimizing Selenium-based scrapers and working with Rails, I’d love to hear from you!
