Ruby on Rails Calendar Component with Syncing with Google and Office 365
Budget: $10,000 – $15,000 USD
We have a website where clients schedule interviews with consultants. We want to build our own calendar component that would sync with our clients' (and their colleagues) calendars in Google or Office 365 to show the available times and schedule interviews by integrating with Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Twillio APIs. Twillio will launch a video call within the Calendar app.
● Duration: The user may choose the duration of the interview from the drop-down menu. The following are the possible options: 30 mins, 45 mins, 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes.
● Attach Interview Guide-: The user may add an interview guide from the drop-down menu. The interview guide will only appear in the drop-down menu if the user has uploaded the interview guides to the platform before scheduling the interview.
● Time Zone: The user may choose a suitable time zone that would make it convenient to view and propose the time slots for the interview.
● Location: The user may choose to select either an In-Person or Remote from the drop-down. The default setting for this would be Remote.
Additional Settings:
● Record Interview - The user can turn on the toggle indicating that the interview would be recorded to the candidate and attendees. This toggle will only appear if the user selects an audio/video provider in the ‘Enable Video Interview’ drop-down. This is only applicable for Pro and Premium Clients
● Request Scorecards- The user may turn on the toggle thereby enabling the feature to request the attendees to submit the scorecard.
● Add Notification Reminder - The user may choose to turn on this toggle. Once enabled, the user will be able to choose the notification type such as email or In-app and timeframe to remind the candidate and attendees about the interview in advance.
We have three-tier business model:
1. Talent On Demand- it is a marketplace model where our clients post projects on our platform and hire top SME vetted talent for the projects.
2. Pro
3. Premium
Pro and Premium are catered towards enterprise clients.
Users
● Clients
Our clients can schedule an interview with a candidate for a specific job opportunity and add attendees. The client can propose up to 5 time slots for candidates to choose from.
● Subject Matter Expert (SME)
SME can schedule an interview with a candidate as a part of our vetting process. The SME can propose up to 5 time slots for candidates to choose from.
● Candidate
The candidate chooses the suitable time slot out of the options provided by Clients or our Staff from the platform or suggest alternative time slots.
Calendar Authorization/Syncing:
Calendar authorization functionality is only for Pro and Premium Clients.
Once the user clicks on the calendar icon as stated above, a new window with a pop-up will appear that would ask the user to authorize its account. By doing this, the user will authorize our company access to its corporate calendar and thus will be able to check team availability and schedule interviews faster.
Data migration and compatibility:
Previous version's data need to migrated and assured to be compatible with new version of interview scheduler.
