OmniAuth plugin for OpenProject with OpenID Connect strategy

We have our own OIDC server implementation that we use to authenticate users across all our services. Recently, we launched the community edition of OpenProject (v13.4.1) in a docker container. Unfortunately, the custom OIDC providers add-on is exclusive to the enterprise edition and is not available in the community edition. However, it appears possible to integrate this feature by creating an OmniAuth plugin with a provider using the OIDC strategy. We are seeking a developer capable of developing this plugin and supporting us in configuring it.
