Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails framework. In this role, you will work on the development and maintenance of our existing web application as well as contribute to the development of new features. You will also be responsible for writing clean and maintainable code, debugging issues, and conducting code reviews. We will require a video call and good communication.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails framework.
Write clean and maintainable code following best practices and standards.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing codebase.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing ones.
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
Document code changes and maintain technical documentation.
Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
Continuously improve skills and knowledge of Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails.
Strong knowledge of Ruby programming language and Rails framework.
Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Experience with Git for version control.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
