Rotoscoping

Hey! I did a project 3 years ago and have a rotoscoping shot I tried to do myself in After Effects. Basically one motion slider 2 minute timelapse and another motion slider 6-8 second shot. Kind of like the Hangover with people moving around the main character in Timelapse speed while the main character is moving in real time.
I wasn’t able to make it look great and didn't think to use a green screen at the time, is this something you would be able to do?
