Re-mount Loose Ridge Capping $250-500
Budget: $250 – $500 AUD
My concrete-tile roof has a length of ridge capping that has worked loose and now needs to be lifted, rebedded and securely re-pointed. The tiles themselves are sound; the issue is confined to the ridge line. I’d like the job completed ASAP, weather permitting.
What I need you to do
• Remove the existing ridge capping without further damaging the concrete tiles.
• Re-bed the ridge using the appropriate roof bedding compound.
• Apply flexible pointing so the capping is fully sealed and able to withstand movement and high wind.
• Tidy the work area and dispose of any old mortar or debris.
Completion will be accepted once the ridge sits straight, shows no movement by hand, and there are no visible gaps along the pointing.
Please bring your own ladders, safety gear and all materials; I can provide clear access to the driveway and power if required. Let me know your earliest available date and an estimated time on site so we can lock the job in quickly.
