Reseal Loose Tile Ridge Capping
Budget: $250 – $500 AUD
The cement bedding along the ridge of my tile roof has started to break away, leaving several caps loose and allowing the risk of water ingress. I need the entire ridge inspected, any loose pieces lifted out, old mortar cleaned back, and the caps re-set so the ridge is once again solid and watertight.
You may use a fresh mortar bed, a flexible pointing compound, or another suitable roof-seal system—whichever will give the best long-term bond on a tiled roof. Please bring all materials, safety gear, and clean-up items; access is straightforward via a standard extension ladder.
Deliverables:
• Secure and reseal every ridge cap along the roofline
• Neat finish that matches the existing tiles in colour and profile
• Photos before you start and after completion, so I can see the difference
The job will be considered complete when the ridge caps no longer move by hand, the pointing shows no gaps, and the work area is left tidy.
