Metal Roof Damage Assessment
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a professional to inspect a small metal roof (less than 500 sq ft) for damage. The inspection is for damage assessment purposes.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience with metal roofs
- Ability to identify and assess roof damage
- Safety equipment and training for roof access
- Detailed reporting skills
We had a ice damn and gutter fall onto an aluminum paneled sunroom roof from our second story. The company who installed the sunroom came out and inspected it, and confirmed the roof is compromised and needs a total replacement because this type of fabricated roof can't be simply pulled apart and repaired. Our home owners insurance is continuing to fight us on it and their engineer is trying to tell us its safe and their were workmanship issues for it to fail in this way. I would like my own structural engineer report and inspection to have for my records.
