Clay Tile Shop Roof Design
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a complete roofing and wall structure design for my retail shop. so your work will start at the wall plate and finish with a fully detailed roof package that a local contractor can build from.
What I am expecting:
• Roof geometry that suits the shop’s dimensions and load-bearing capacity, with appropriate pitch for clay tiles.
• Framing layout, rafter and truss sizing, connection details, and any bracing notes required for code compliance.
• A tile-by-tile layout or module grid that shows ridge, hip, and valley treatments, plus flashing details around the perimeter.
• Drainage strategy and overhang dimensions to keep rainwater away from the façade.
• Material take-off list for all structural members, underlayment, and tile quantities.
• Drawings in PDF plus source files (DWG or Revit preferred) and a simple 3D view so I can visualise the finished look.
Please factor in local wind and snow loads (I will provide exact figures once we start) and follow the latest version of the International Building Code or an equivalent local standard. If you have previous experience designing clay-tile roofs for commercial properties, include a sample so I can see your detailing style.
