Since my diagnosis of epilepsy two years ago my word vocabulary and memory is failing Massively.

These two years had been unimaginable I have roughly 6-9 seizures through the day and night.

I wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for my mum.

On suicidal road for a while but I can’t do it to my mum, I would never would hurt her. To me my life is pointless with a disability that’s invisible.

I’m 26 and live with my mum, she’s a mental health nurse and works her absolute socks off for buttons in my eyes for what she does.

But she still finds time to be my mum, best friend and personal nurse 24 hours round the clock. I honestly think she’s incredible

I want to express in this poem how much she actually means to me the effects And impact this has had on herself and her life and mine but we are now at the final stage to brain surgery and to getting our life back.

My mum is my hero. I don’t know what I would do without my mum ?

As I’m writing this I’m in hospital with 134 wires attached, bed bound for 5 days.

I’m so emotional that this is my final stage to brain surgery!!!

Sorry if I’ve made this very confusing but the main point is my mum is one hell of a women
