Smart High-Rise Glass Cleaning Robot

Job ID: 40574978

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I am building a smart robot that can scale high-rise façades and leave every pane spotless. My biggest gap right now is the robotics and automation engineering that ties the whole system together—from the drive mechanism that clings to glass to the control loops that keep it stable in swirling wind.

The single most critical metric for this machine is high cleaning efficiency. I need the design choices, motion strategy, and end-effector layout all optimised so the robot spends more time wiping and less time repositioning. Alongside that, it must autonomously detect and avoid obstacles such as window frames, protruding cameras, or façade fins while staying on its cleaning path.

Here’s how I picture our collaboration:

• Translate the concept into a detailed mechatronic architecture, selecting motors, sensors (vision, LiDAR or ultrasonic), and a lightweight adhesion/traction system that works on large glass areas.

• Produce CAD models and simulation files showing force analysis, coverage patterns, and predicted cleaning throughput.

• Develop the control framework—preferably in ROS or a comparable real-time environment—that fuses IMU and vision data for obstacle-aware navigation while continuously optimising squeegee pressure and travel speed for maximum wipe quality.

• Outline a prototype build plan with component lists, wiring diagrams, and test procedures so I can move straight into fabrication and field trials.

If you have prior experience with façade robots, magnetic or vacuum adhesion, or high-duty squeegee mechanisms, your insight will be invaluable. Let me know which elements you can own end-to-end and show me examples of similar automation work you have delivered.
