Senior Robotics Simulation & 3D Synthetic Data Pipeline Engineer

Job ID: 40304222

Budget: ₹1,250 – ₹2,500 INR

About the Project: We need help building a simulation pipeline for dataset generation.
We need an expert to help us customize, and extend the simready-variants generation pipeline.
The Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Python engineer with a strong background in automated synthetic data pipelines, 3D physics simulators. You will collaborate with our internal Pipeline Owner and USD/Sim-readiness Owner to integrate our requirements into the pipeline.
The goal is to build a robust infrastructure that consistently outputs physically feasible, semantically rich & realistic 3D environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate Realistic Variant
Physics Integration: Ensure all generated assets have accurate physical properties and collision geometries
Add robots to interact with the generated scene automatically.
Solution should work on Isaac-Sim Compatible.
OpenUSD & SimReady Alignment: Work with our team to structure scene exports into clean, inspectable OpenUSD formats.
Ensure scenes are embedded with rich metadata (object type, hierarchy, materials, dimensions) and align with NVIDIA SimReady standards for immediate use in Isaac Sim.
Required Skills & Experience:
OpenUSD certification must have.
Expert-level Python: The core framework is built almost entirely in Python.
Robotics Physics Simulators: Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim
OpenUSD Expertise: Deep understanding of OpenUSD composition, hierarchy, and metadata structuring.
3D Math & Geometry: Understanding of spatial transforms, SE(3) poses, bounding boxes, and convex decompositions for collision meshes.
Nice to Have:
Experience generating synthetic vision data (segmentation masks, depth maps, object labels) for physical AI pipelines.
