Senior Robotics Feasibility Consultant
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m at the concept stage of a new robotics product and need an experienced mind to sanity-check the idea before significant resources are committed. The work centres on clear, practical advice rather than hands-on coding or mechanical design.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Study the current requirements document and any sketches, then challenge assumptions where necessary.
• Recommend a robust hardware and software architecture—covering processors, drive electronics, sensor suite, motion-control approach, and computer-vision stack.
• Flag technical, regulatory, and supply-chain risks early, suggesting mitigation tactics.
• Lay out a phased development roadmap with realistic timelines, key decision gates, and indicative resource needs.
Expect to collaborate through screen-share sessions and tracked-comment documents. I’m comfortable with the usual robotics toolset—ROS, Gazebo, MATLAB/Simulink, SolidWorks—so please weave in whichever of those (or others) fit your proposal.
Deliverables
1. Annotated requirements review (PDF or Google Docs).
2. Architecture diagram with component rationale.
3. Risk register highlighting top technical and schedule threats.
4. High-level development roadmap (Gantt or similar).
I’ll supply NDAs, background research, and competitor tear-downs once we kick off. Looking forward to your seasoned perspective on turning this concept into a feasible plan.
