New York Engineer for ROS System Calibration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need an engineer specifically based in New York who is well versed with Robotics Operating System. I am working on automation of a private small scale start up that deals with sorting of waste plastics based on size and weight, as those are the only key parameters for sorting. Previously, we had employed an automated script developed via python holistic, but it has not been reliable hence the need for upgrading to a robotic system. Currently, we have upgraded and intergrated the automation which is software based core logic into the robotic system specialized hardware, which requires adapting the software to interact with the real world through sensors and actuators. The following is what has been done:
1. Remote sensing: The core program runs on an external computer, which sends commands to the robotic system hardware.
2. Cross compilation: The previous automated code has been rewritten and recompiled to run natively on robotic system embedded processor.
3. Latent space mapping and ML model collapse. This was done to improve overall accuracy.
We are now at the final step, but we wanted to make sure that the overall project achieves utmost accuracy hence we need a small help just for final confirmation. When upgrading the automated script code as explained above, we had to recode and recompile the code, which was done using a new and more reliable programming language called LUA for all files. We specifically need an engineer based in New York because they understand more on local policies. The work is simple, now that all files were recoded and recompiled using LUA, we want the engineer to review all the files testing for any bugs, recompilation errors, optimization bugs, integration incompatibilities and debug or add code where necessary. For the sake of safety of the files, I will only share the link to the drop box holding the files with the freelancer I will select. Once this is done successfully, I will hire the same person for the final part of reviewing the bridging of software and hardware, simulation to reality, sensor and actuator calibration.
