Manufacturing and Assembly Plant Design
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
Seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified people who have experience in high level scoping and feasibility for the development of a manufacturing and assembly plant.
The units to be produced are the size of a pick up truck, and have steel work, sheet metal work, cabinetry, and electrical components.
We currently have the concept design being finalised from which we will be going to production drawing phase within the next two weeks.
We would like to discuss our requirements, now we are nearing draft production drawings to investigate a feasibility of a manufacturing and assembly plant to produce some 1000-2500 assemblies per year.
We predict the following areas of production:
- Incoming inputs for production and stores logistics areas
-Pre assembly of wiring harnesses
-Pre assembly of modular components
-manufacture of chassis and cabinet from sheet steel
- powder coating and possibly galvanising of chassis and cabinet in-house
- assembly line of Pre assembled components
- wiring of assembly
- final fit off area
- Factory acceptance testing area
- Pre delivery areas
- Waste facilities
What we want is someone with considerable experience who can put all the pieces of the puzzle together and provide us with a high level understanding of machinery required, space, work flows, and other life experiences to short cut our route to production.
Experience with robotics and automated production processes is advantageous, as well as Lean principals.
Whilst we are investigating at the moment, we would prefer a nominated bid as an offer of the services and deliverables you would see for that cost.
Currently we are conscious of costs, and so an experienced consultant now offering and delivering with this in consideration will be held in very high regard for ongoing consultation once the button is pushed to build the plant, and take it through to operational readiness.
