I need a compact robotic arm that can pick small MDF toy components from a feeder, position them accurately, and seat them for the next assembly step — all without any human intervention once it starts. The payload is light, so speed and repeatability matter more than raw strength. A fully automated cycle with whatever sensors or vision you feel are necessary is key; the goal is to press a single button and let the line run.
You’re free to choose the architecture that best serves a light-duty task: a desktop-scale 6-axis, a SCARA, or another configuration you trust. Whether you prefer ROS, Arduino-based control, or a PLC is up to you, provided the result is stable, safe, and easy for me to support after hand-off.
