Laser positioner

I am trying to create a linear actuator that can precisely position a cross hair laser pointer. The unit would be attached to the wall and needs 6 inches of movement right, left, up, and down (along the x y axis). The stage needs to rotate around the z axis. A cross hair laser pointer will be attached to the stage. This needs a joystick to access all 3 ranges of motion. The unit needs to move about 1 inch per second along the x and y planes and needs to rotate along the z plane at 10 degrees per second.
