I’m building an autonomous mobile robot that handles pallets like a small forklift, and I need someone who can own the mechanical side from concept to production-ready files. Your core focus will be the chassis layout, all mechanical interfaces for sensors, drive units and forks, and the passive / active safety features that let the robot share space with people. A solid robotics background is important because every bracket, plate and cut-out has to coexist with navigation sensors, wiring looms and control hardware.

I work in AutoCAD and would like the full model, detailed drawings and a clean BOM delivered in that environment. If you have supplementary tools in your workflow that’s fine, but the final artefacts must import cleanly into AutoCAD without lost constraints or metadata.

Because this project is on a fast track, I’m aiming to review your first chassis concept within days and lock the design as soon as it clears safety and integration checks. Please outline your approach to:

• Structural calculations and weight targets
• Mounting points for LiDAR, cameras and drive modules
• ISO/ANSI safety clearances and guarding solutions
