Build Mobile Robot Prototype (Motors, Sensors, 3D Printed Enclosure)
I’m looking for a freelance engineer to help build a small mobile robot prototype.

This is an early-stage, hands-on project. The concept, basic design direction, and initial 3D enclosure files (STL) are already defined. I need support turning this into a working physical prototype.

The robot will:

- move using a 2-wheel motor setup
- detect basic environmental input (proximity/distance)
- respond with simple movement and feedback (light/sound)
- run structured behavior logic (idle, react, reposition)

This is a practical build project, not a research or high-complexity robotics system.

Scope of Work
Hardware Integration
Set up Raspberry Pi (or recommend alternative such as Arduino/ESP32)

Integrate:
2x DC gear motors
motor driver (L298N or similar)
battery pack
proximity sensor (ultrasonic or ToF)
Motion Control
Implement differential drive:
forward / reverse
turning
Ensure stable, smooth movement
Basic Behavior Logic
React to proximity (approach / stop / move away)
Manage simple states (idle vs active)
Support time-based or interaction-based behavior

(No advanced AI required — structured logic is sufficient)

LED / Audio (Optional)
LED ring or strip for visual feedback
Basic sound output (tones or simple audio)

3D Printed Enclosure
Review and adjust existing STL files to fit components
Ensure practical assembly and internal mounting
Optional: assist with printing or recommend materials/settings
Documentation
Wiring diagram
Setup notes
Organized, readable code

Goal

Deliver a working prototype that:

moves reliably
responds to basic input
is physically assembled and testable

Polish is not required — functionality is the priority.
