Elementary Robot Coding Tool

Job ID: 40129735

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I’m building a block-based coding environment that makes real robots come alive for elementary-age students. The goal is to give young learners an intuitive way to move from simple drag-and-drop logic to more advanced robotics ideas, all while sharpening their problem-solving skills.

Here’s what I need: an engaging visual interface (think Blockly or Scratch-style) that connects smoothly to affordable classroom robots such as micro:bit-powered rovers or Arduino-based kits. The workflow should start with basic sequencing blocks, then unlock sensor, loop, and conditional blocks, and finally expose more sophisticated robotics functions once a student shows mastery. Clear visual feedback—lights, sounds, on-screen animations—will keep the kids motivated and let teachers see progress at a glance.

Deliverables
• A working web-based (or cross-platform) block-coding editor with robot connectivity
• A progressive lesson path: introductory basics, intermediate problem-solving challenges, and “advanced” extensions that still feel fun and age-appropriate
• Sample robot projects (code + instructions) ready for classroom use
• Teacher guide and quick-start documentation

Acceptance Criteria
• A third-grade student can complete the first lesson independently in under 15 minutes
• The same interface scales to later lessons that introduce sensor feedback and simple algorithms without code rewrites
• All code runs on at least one common low-cost robot platform with no extra license fees

If this sounds like your kind of challenge, let’s bring robotics to the next generation of young coders.
