Tea Packaging and Palletizing Cell Simulation in ABB RobotStudio
1. The conveyor starts moving and brings the boxes to Pusher 1.
2. The first three boxes arrive at the grouping station and Pusher 1 pushes them into the first row. Pusher 1 then returns to its home position. The movement of tea boxes and Pusher 1 should be synchronized.
3. The conveyor starts moving again and brings the next three boxes to Pusher 1. Pusher 1 pushes them into the second row while compacting both rows against the side wall.
4. After that, Pusher 2 moves sideways and compresses the complete 3×2 pattern. During this operation, the movement of the tea boxes should be synchronized with Pusher 2.
5. Once the 3×2 group is formed, the six individual tea boxes can be hidden and replaced by a single grouped object representing the complete 3×2 pack. This grouped object will then be picked by the ABB IRB1600 robot.
6. The robot places the grouped tea pack into an open carton. Each carton must contain two layers, each layer consisting of a 3×2 tea group.
7. When the carton is full, the carton conveyor advances and moves the filled carton toward the closing/sealing station. A new empty carton is automatically placed at the loading position, allowing the process to continue without interruption.
8. After passing through the closing station the open carton is replaced by closed carton, then the sealed carton is transferred to the palletizing area, where the second ABB robot picks it up and places it onto a pallet according to the pallet pattern.
9. The pallet is filled layer by layer until the desired pallet configuration is completed.
I do not need a physics-based simulation. I only need a synchronized animation that visually represents the process!
