Build a waiter robot for me
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
The tasks of the waiter robot as follows:
- Pickup food from restaurant staff at pickup station
- Self navigate and serve food up to 3 tables at one go and back to pick up station
- Receive instructions from staff to self charge and start table serving

Technical capabilities of the robot:
- Equip with SLAM technology with Ultra Wide Band (UWB) Anchor & Tags to localize the robot position
- Equip with sensor to avoid any obstacles and plan for alternate route
- Map out the restaurant floor plan and table layout and table number
- Receive instructions from staff and customer:
*Staff to select up to 3 tables for sending food
*Customer from each table to update order status after collecting food from tray
Technology required:
- SLAM with UWB for localization and mapping
- ROS for mapping and simulation. Or suggest any other tools..

- Touch screen (Staff to enter table number; Customer to complete the order after taking food)
