Workplace Safety Risk Assessment

Job ID: 39942405

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I need an experienced safety professional to perform a comprehensive review of our current sites and the processes that run within them, with a clear focus on Work Health and Safety (WHS). The goal is to uncover any hazards we may have missed, evaluate the effectiveness of our existing controls, and give me a practical, prioritised plan for risk reduction.

What I expect from you
• A structured site-visit or remote evaluation method that captures physical, chemical, ergonomic and procedural hazards.
• A written risk assessment for each site, including likelihood, consequence and overall risk rating.
• A consolidated WHS risk register and heat-map so I can see critical issues at a glance.
• A clear, actionable improvement plan that lists recommended controls, responsible parties and rough time/cost estimates.
• Guidance on how our current practices align with relevant safety regulations and recognised industry standards.

The scope is sized for a detailed examination rather than just a cursory audit, yet it does not require weeks of consultancy. I’m looking for someone who can quickly gather the facts, analyse the findings and present them in a concise, well-structured report that management can act on right away.

If you have strong WHS credentials, hands-on auditing experience and can deliver within the next couple of weeks, I’d like to hear how you would approach the task and see examples of similar risk reviews you have completed.

We run x 2 drop-centres which can attract people with current or historical risks
