Distinguish between the latest communication channels and mechanisms used to manage and control the cross-functional exchange of experiences (e.g. PSA, JVs, Finance & Treasury, IP, Insurance, Vessels, etc.,) in the context of "Contract & Risk Management", including contractual problematic issues, difficulties faced in contract negotiations, controversies etc. Learn how to be more attentive to contract risks through applying advanced risk analysis methodologies and risk mitigation techniques. Describe and examine the implications of actions/ inactions with regards to non-compliance to contract risk management & mitigation guidelines (financial risks, reputational risks. Business risks etc.,). Distinguish between the alternative communication channels and mechanisms used to communicate identified contractual risks, and learn how to present conclusions and recommendations effectively to stakeholders. Demonstrate how to incorporate risk mitigations measures in contract drafting and execution to protect the organization's legal position.
