IFC & Risk Control Matrix (RCM) Consultant — BSE SME Listed Company
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a seasoned Chartered Accountant or Internal Audit specialist to take complete ownership of our Internal Financial Controls journey for a BSE-SME–listed public company. The assignment must satisfy Section 134(5)(e) and Section 143(3)(i) of the Companies Act 2013, and the final work will go straight to the Audit Committee and our statutory auditor for their IFC opinion.
Scope
All core business processes—procurement & accounts payable, sales & accounts receivable, financial reporting, general ledger, and any support functions that feed them—must be mapped, risk-rated, and linked to clearly articulated control objectives.
What I expect you to build
• RCM workbook in Excel, listing risks, control descriptions, control owners, frequencies, and testing procedures
• Narrative IFC Report in Word summarising the framework, methodology, and overall control effectiveness
• Control-testing tracker (Excel) with detailed testing results and remediation status
• Action plan highlighting gaps, owners, and target dates for closure
Work approach
You will conduct walkthroughs, design effectiveness reviews, and operational testing, then brief the Audit Committee and our Internal Audit Team at agreed checkpoints. Regular progress updates and a concise final presentation deck would be appreciated to help stakeholders absorb the findings quickly.
Success criteria
1. Documentation aligns with ICAI’s 2019 Guidance Note on IFC.
2. All identified gaps carry feasible, time-bound remediation actions.
3. Statutory auditor accepts the framework and testing evidence without re-work.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, and (ideally) simple flow-charting tools is required. Let me know your proposed timeline, methodology, any relevant past assignments and your approx fees when you respond.
