Bank BCM Risk Expert Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for a seasoned Banking & Capital Markets professional who lives and breathes risk management from a BCM standpoint. My immediate priority is to strengthen our Business Continuity Planning, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery frameworks so they align with banking-sector standards and withstand regulatory scrutiny.
Where I need you most
• Map current processes end-to-end, flag single points of failure, and quantify their impact on service availability.
• Draft a pragmatic, test-ready Business Continuity Plan that integrates seamlessly with existing credit, market, and operational-risk policies.
• Design a Crisis Management playbook—clear escalation paths, decision matrices, and communications templates included.
• Build a Disaster Recovery roadmap that spans data, infrastructure, and cross-border operations, with realistic recovery-time and recovery-point objectives.
• Recommend risk metrics and governance checkpoints so senior leadership can monitor resilience in real time.
Acceptance criteria
1. All documents meet current banking regulatory guidance (e.g., Basel, local supervisory notices).
2. Plans are actionable, tested through at least one tabletop or simulation exercise.
3. Deliverables arrive in editable Microsoft 365 formats and include an executive summary slide deck.
If you’ve already led BCM initiatives for banks or capital-markets firms and can jump straight into hands-on work with minimal onboarding, I’d like to hear how you’d tackle this assignment and a sample timeline you can commit to.
