Project Safety Officer

Our high-activity construction site needs a seasoned Health, Safety & Environment specialist to keep every task compliant and every worker protected. The entire mandate revolves around construction site safety, and I’m only considering professionals who hold the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential.

Here’s what I’m counting on you to handle day-to-day:

• Carry out a comprehensive baseline risk assessment and maintain a live risk register, updating mitigation measures as site conditions change.
• Run regular toolbox talks and focused safety workshops so crews understand hazards and controls in plain, actionable language.
• Lead any incident investigation on site, perform root-cause analysis, and issue a corrective-action report within 24 hours that satisfies OSHA-style reporting standards.
• Compile a concise weekly HSE dashboard, then wrap the project with a final close-out summary highlighting lessons learned and measurable improvements.

You’ll have full access to method statements, site layouts, supervisors and foremen. Experience with ISO 45001 audit frameworks, incident-management platforms like Intelex or Safetymint, and solid Excel or Power BI skills for trend tracking will help you hit the ground running.
