Gas Grill CE Certification Support
Budget: €3,000 – €5,000 EUR
I’m finalising a new gas-fired grilling appliance and need an engineer who has already walked products like this through CE marking under the Gas Appliances Regulation.
Your main mission is to build a rock-solid technical file, starting with the correct identification of every applicable EN or ISO standard for burners, pressure equipment, construction materials, safety devices, labelling and consumer documentation. Once the standards map is complete, we will expand the file to cover test plans, risk analysis, user manual alignment and the draft EU Declaration of Conformity.
What I value and expect
• Demonstrated experience certifying gas appliances (grills, heaters or similar) for CE/GAR.
• Hands-on familiarity with Product Safety, EMC, PED where relevant, and the notified-body process.
• Clear, structured communication—Hungarian language skills are a plus because our factory is in Hungary.
Deliverables
1. Standards matrix for the appliance, citing clauses and rationale.
2. Structured technical file template populated with all mandatory sections.
3. Guidance notes for pending tests and any data we must collect before the notified body visit.
4. Draft wording for labels, rating plates and the future EU Declaration of Conformity.
