Looking for health and safety equipment required in a factory using ammonia.
The cacdudate should have the relevant experience in Health and Safety inspection and be able to recommend vendors from whom to procure the required equipment.

Below are some observations based on safety inspection conducted at the factory

1. Training Operators on operating Ammonia Lines and Valves
2. Adequate Fire Fighting equipment and Operating Instructions in multi language.
3. Showers to protect the workers exposed to toxic and corrosive substances.
4. Safety measures in ammonia storage area to prevent the risk of fire, explosion, or the formation of toxic concentration of ammonia.
5. Effective audible and visible alarm systems in the hazardous ammonia gas process area and storage area to warn of unsafe operating conditions.
6. Automatic control arrangements to control the effects of hazardous ammonia gas related emergencies
7. Inspect and record monthly inspection of Ammonia pipelines and fittings by a competent person.
